The Cincinnati Reds are signing utilityman Chad Pinder to a Minor League deal, according to a report.

Pinder, 30, will be in camp with the Reds as non-roster invitee once the deal is finalized.

He joins the Reds after spending parts of seven seasons with the Oakland Athletics.

The Atlanta Braves have agreed to a Minor League deal with infielder Adeiny Hechavarria.

The club has also signed outfielders Magneuris Sierra and Forrest Wall, and reliever Brian Moran to Minor League deals.

All four players will receive non-roster invitations to Spring Training.

The Royals and Zack Greinke have agreed to a contract for the coming season, according to multiple reports, making it nine seasons over two stints in Kansas City for the six-time All-Star pitcher.

The financial terms of the deal, which was first reported by Kansas City sports radio host Bob Fescoe, were not immediately available. Greinke was paid $13 million last season by the Royals, where he spent his first seven seasons before returning last year and going 3-9 with a 3.68 ERA and striking out 73 over 137 innings for the rebuilding club.

Josh Harrison is joining the Philadelphia Phillies on a one-year, $2 million deal, according to reports.

Harrison, 35, appeared in 119 games with the Chicago White Sox during the 2022 season hitting .256/.317/.370 with seven homers while making 85 starts at second base and 20 at third.

He had his club option declined by the White Sox after the season, making him a free agent.

The Los Angeles Angels are in the market for left-handed bullpen help and "have strong interest" in Zack Britton, according to a report.

It's possible that the Angels are looking for Britton to lower his asking price of roughly $9 million annually.

Britton, 35, pitched just two-thirds of an inning in 2022 due to injury.

The Tampa Bay Rays are nearing an agreement on a three-year contract extension with Yandy Diaz, according to reports.

The three-year deal will be worth $24 million and includes a club option.

Diaz and the Rays were unable to agree to a 2023 contract prior to the arbitration salary filing deadline. The third baseman filed for $6.3 million and the Rays filed at $5.55 million. 

The three-year extension buys out Diaz's final two arbitration years and one free agent year with a club option for a second free agent year. 

The New York Mets have agreed to a four-year, $50 million contract extension with Jeff McNeil, according to sources.

McNeil, who turns 31 shortly after Opening Day, was scheduled to go to an arbitration trial with the Mets, where he was requesting $7.75 million and they offered $6.25 million.

The deal, which is pending a physical, includes a fifth-year club option that would take the total value to $63.75 million.

McNeil won the National League batting title in 2022.

The New York Yankees have been in contact with free agent outfielder David Peralta, according to a report.

At this point, the Yankees appear more likely to use an in-house option in left field.

The Texas Rangers are re-signing Ian Kennedy, the veteran pitcher announced on social media.

It's expected to be a Minor League deal for Kennedy.

The 38-year-old had a 5.36 ERA in 50 1/3 innings for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2022.

The Detroit Tigers have agreed to a Minor League contract with veteran Cesar Hernandez, according to reports.

A 10-year Major League veteran, Hernandez won a Gold Glove as a second baseman with the Cleveland Guardians in 2020.
